This stiffening and bleaching agent for rinsing previously washed fabrics is highly soluble in cold water. It stiffens and whitens table linens (tablecloths, napkins), bed linens (pillowcases, duvet covers, sheets, curtains), and other fabrics requiring starch (shirts, blouses, aprons, chef's caps, nurse's caps, etc.). A low-concentration solution is also suitable for bark products. For best results, repeatedly immerse the fabric in a freshly prepared solution.
Thanks to its low density, starch particles penetrate more easily into the fabric and, between the fibers, swell when exposed to moisture. After rinsing, the laundry is lightly squeezed and allowed to drain. It should not be tumbled. After drying, the slightly damp fabric is ironed or pressed. After such treatments, it achieves the appropriate stiffness and smooth surface (depending on the concentration of the solution used). It looks like a new garment.
Starched underwear is more resistant to dirt, pleasant to the skin and retains a pleasant fresh scent for a long time.
